Went for my company event with the theme of "Back To School" yesterday.
It was an event for all the guests and we are supposed to wear our school uniforms.
Oh well...
My uniform shrunk le so i can't fit into it anymore.
So, I went there with my POLY school uniform.
Haha...
The event ended at around 10pm.
So tired.
Started work at 7am and ended everything at 10pm.
15 hours of work.
Shiok.
Haa....
The event was fun as it really reminds me of my school days when the food only cost 1 bucks.
Haa...
Now, you can't even buy a cup of drink at the foodcourt with one buck.
And also, all the games we played when we were young.
Erasers, Zero Point and many more.
Now, it's PSP, MP4 and Handphones.
Haha....
Time had changed.
Anyway, the very KIND me volunteered to be a volunteer to bring the old folks to the Zoo today.
It was a recommendation from Rongshan as her brother is the vice President of I-Gap (A volunteering group to bridge the gap between old folks and youngsters).
So Huijuan and I volunteered.
Well...
It was fun but also tiring.
We have to walk round the zoo with the old people.
And the weather was like so hot.
But well, i had a fun time with the old people.
One of the Ah Gong whom i looked after keep asking me to drink loads of water and he even asked me what i like at the souvenir shop and he wanted to buy one for me.
Of course i rejected him but i was really happy as it was so sweet of him.
At least my effort is not wasted.
I am sure everyone had a great time.
Haha...
And i made new friends too. =)
Anyway, went to the food centre @ Beach Road for dinner with Huijuan after the event.
Haha...We ate up 20+ bucks of food at the food centre.
The greedy me went to buy a cheap Chocolate Fondue @ $14.80.
It includes ice-creams, waffles, mashmallows and fruits for the fondue.
Yummy yummy.....
Had a very full meal and we decided to take a stroll @ the Esplanade.
We managed to figure our way to the Esplanade and on our way there, we saw fireworks as it was the rehearsal for NDP.
Haha..So lucky.
I haven't been driving since i got my license and i really feel like driving.
Well...
My next target is to buy a car and and to learn Sign Language.
Learning Sign language is not a problem.
But the car...
Well...
We shall wait and see...=)
