DAY 2
Remember i said i regret bringing BQ along for the trip?
Haa...Wonder why?
Cos after DAY 1, BQ,Ms Khoo and CS clicked so well that they started to suan me together!
Haiz.....
That's my life.
What else can i say.....
Anyway, we were all woken up by the drilling sound outside our room.
Yes.
It was because our hotel is in renovation progress.
We actually missed it when we first checked in.
Haiz...
So, with the very irritating disturbance, all of us woke up from our sleep.
We went for breakfast at one of the food restaurant there and we took bus to Brinchang.
Yes. Brinchang is the destination for our hike yesterday.
When we reached there, of course, our first destination was to visit the "San Poh Temple" we missed yesterday.
The temple was really very peaceful and nice.
After the temple, we walked around and we saw those people living in those very "old houses".
At that point of time, i was thinking: "How will i feel if i were to stay in those houses?"
Will i like the peacefulness or will i find it boring without computer, SCV and many more luxuries i am having now?
Haa...I duno.
Halfway through, we went to have some snacks at Secret Recipe after much persuasion.
Cos it was very cheap.
Half price of Singapore.
Haha...
We ordered 2 cakes.
Yummy Yummy!
We went to the Big Strawberry Farm after the break and it was very different from what i imagined.
I thought it was a big plot of land with all the strawberries hanging from the branches. (Like those in western countries.)
The one in Cameron Highland was those plants in each individual small pots.
And yes. There were a lot of strawberries.
But those strawberries were not those big big ones. They are all rather small but very SWEET.
Haha...
We were also at the cactus farm.
Cactus with flowers.
Really very nice.
After that, we went to the weekend market which i was looking forward to.
Well, a trip without shopping is not complete.
Haha....
But then, to my disappointment, i realised that they are mostly selling STRAWBERRIES & VEGETABLES.
Well...Well...Well....
So in the end, we bought their delicacies to eat.
The very oily fried mushroom and the hotdogs...
Yummy Yummy!
Can you imagine we bought around 10 hotdogs in total??!!!
Haha...
After staying for half-a-day in Brinchang, we decided to go back to our place (Tanah Rata) to have our steamboat feast.
Yes. Steamboat in 20 degrees celsius is shiok.
But salty steamboat is not.
Haha...
It was a Hongkong restaurant steamboat and it only charges RM12 per pax.
But well, after that, we realised that they do not have much variety of food for the steamboat and the soup is too salty.
But nontheless, we enjoyed the feast.
After the feast, i decided to ask someone to draw a portrait of me for RM25.
And OMG!
I am like a SUPERSTAR!
When he was drawing me, so many people walked past and stopped there to look at me!
So paiseh la....
Haha...
And yah..I have to thank Ms Khoo, CS and BQ for waiting for me in the cold.
But it was worth it right?
Haha...You all waiting for a SUPERSTAR leh!
Haha...
After the drawing was done, we all rushed back to the hotel cos it was really damn damn COLD.
But strangely, along our way back, all of us decided to go and buy ICE-CREAM!
Haha...We are really a bunch of crazy people.....
After the shower, we decided to go out and watch stars cos there are really many many stars that night.
We brought along the strawberries we bought at the farm, the ice-cream and a bottle of water to the "dark area" beside our hotel.
And yes. It was freezing cold cos it was only 16 degrees celsius.
But it was worth it.
Cos we saw the "Yin He" - the milky way and also, SHOOTING STARS!
We saw quite a few and whenever we sees it, we will point at it and shout "EH!"
Then everyone will automatically put their hands together to make a wish...
And in the midst of "watching the stars", there was a farting session.
Haha...
Really duno why everyone wants to fart so much in the cold.
Haha..
Me and Ms Khoo gave the loudest one.
Haha...
Yes..It was gross...But we were all enjoying it.
Haha....Crazy.
Finally, unable to stand the cold, we decided to go back to the hotel room.
With all our food untouched.
Haha....
In the end, we ate our melted ice-creams and the strawberries in the room.
After all the fun and laughter, we decided to go to sleep and gain more energy for tml's hike.
