I AM BACK!
Haha....
I'm sure you guys miss me right?
Haa...
I went to Cameron Highland with Ms Khoo, CS and BQ.
Well...This was quite a last minute decision.
So everything was in a rush.

Anyway, i will write down the daily details for the trip.
The trip was fun and adventurous. Very adventurous.
Haha...Read on and you will know what happen.

DAY 1

The four of us met at Golden mile and boarded the bus to Cameron Highland on 08/08.
However, i was a bit worried that the trip might be a bit awkward cos BQ has never met Ms Khoo and CS before.
But well, what happened in the end?
Read on and you will know how stupid i am to bring BQ along for the trip.
Haa.....

Anyway, the journey took around 10 hours and we took the only coach at night.
It was 1030pm and everyone's intention was to sleep on the bus so that we can start our adventure hike once we reached.
However, we seemed to be sitting on a bump boat ride.
Due to the uneven road, the bus was jerking all the time.
And just when i was about to fall asleep, the jerking woke me up.
Shit man.
In the end, all of us did not have a good night sleep.
Haha...

Know why i said this was an adventurous trip?
Haa...
One of the reason was that we DID NOT make any reservation for our accommodation before going for the trip.
We decided to try our luck by going there to find.
Yes. We might be sleeping on the streets cos it was actually peak period due to the long holidays.
Thank god.
After walking around the place, we found a room for 4 people with the help of one of the hotel's boss.
It was RM120 per night.
So RM30 per night for each.
Haha..
Yes.
It means less that S$15 per night.
Haha...
But well, no TV, no safe and most importantly, we really had a hard time getting hot water for shower on the first day (to be explained at the later part of this entry).
But nonetheless, the room was quite big and nice to stay in, except for the NOISE.

Anyway, after putting down our stuff, we went to have breakfast in one of the coffeeshop.
And i tell you.
Their prata is damn BIG!
One of their prata is equal to TWO of Singapore's prata size.
Haha...
In the end, we couldn't finish the food so we have to dabao.

Then we started our exploring and the hiking.
The plan for the first day was supposed to be a relaxing one.
We were supposed to explore around the place and then climb up to the "Watch Tower" on top of one of the hill.
In the end, it became the most tiring day ever.
We started climbing and everything was fine as the path up the hill was not very difficult to walk.
Finally, we reached the peak of the hill and we saw the splendid view from the "Watch Tower". (I will try to upload the pictures asap.)
It was so nice and windy that everyone of us can't bear to leave.
However, due to time constraint, we decided to carry on.

When we were half-way down the hill, SOMEONE suggested that we go and explore the surroundings.
So we decided to explore and walk around.
It was to prepare ourselves for the hike on the third day to the highest mountain and also enjoy ourselves in the beauty of nature.
We started walking walking and walking.
We actually wanted to climb to the other hill but in the end, everyone was so tired and it was getting dark so we decided to give it a miss and try to walk out of the forest.
We walked, climbed, jumped, crawled but we are still in the forest.
With the GPS that CS has, it says that we still need to walk for about 2km more.
But after half an hour, we asked and he said we still have 1.8km more.
WHAT THE??!!!!
We walked for so long and in the end we only walked for 0.2km??!!
Haa...
That was our reaction upon hearing that.
And we can hear him and Ms Khoo saying: "We are reaching soon" for 2 hours.
but we still haven't reach.
Haha...

The path out really sux to the core.
The slope was about 90 degrees steep.
And if we were to slip and fall, i really cannot imagine what will happen.
Everyone was hungry and tired.
I was really mentally and physically tired.
Then i started to ponder....."Maybe i should just stay at home and help to do household chores."
Haha....
When we were climbing halfway, SOMEONE wanted to shit.
Haha....
And with no toilet, SHE had to do it in the nature.
Oh man!
Haha...She did it.
And she was being teased for the rest of the trip.
Haha...

FINALLY, someone shouted: "I SAW BUILDINGS!!!"
Everyone was so happy!
But when we saw it, we realised that it was not our destination.
And if we were to climb down to the building we saw, we will all roll down the hill.
With no choice, we continued to climbed, walked, jumped and crawled.
Haa....

And yes.
Finally, really really FINALLY, we saw our destination.
It was actually the "San Poh Temple" at Brinchang.
By the time we reached there, the temple was closed.
But we don't really mind cos we are all DAMN DAMN HUNGRY.

So, we took a bus back to our place with our mentally and physically tired body.
We bought Marrybrown for dinner.
Ms Khoo, CS and me was eating while BQ was having her shower.
And know what, we realised that there was no hot water for our shower.
Shit.
Imagine you have to bathe with freezing water with the surrounding temperature at 20 degrees celsius.
Kill me and i will still say NO WAY.
We went to look for the staff and she realised that the gas for the heater has run out.
And i finally realised that they are still using burner and gas for the hot water.
Wow.....

Finally, after all the hassle, four of us took a total of 2 hours to bathe.
Haha...

Being the first day in Cameron Highland, of cos we continued to explore around at night.
But there was nothing much to explore in the town as most of the shops were already closed.
And yah, explore = shopping.
Haha...
So in the end,we bought whatever we need at one of the provision shop and we went back to the hotel for our sleep.

Stay tune for the story for DAY 2. =)

Message from the bottle:
Believe in yourself. Giving up half-way will not help the situation. You need to continue to walk on with determination and perserverance.
This is how i managed to overcome the hike.
Complain all you want. But, you must continue to move on.
